  About the C.M.C.A.

The C.M.C.A., the Campervan and Motorhome Club of Australia, was launched in 1986, and now has over 36,000 members

Within the Club are 59 local Chapters, which reguarly organise social events. All Chapter gatherings are open to all members, so they are a great way of meeting other motorhomers whilst travelling. Joining a Chapter is optional, but I know how much I enjoy the followship of belonging to a Chapter, and the fun of attending Chapter functions, so I can heartily recommend it.

A National Rally is held each year in October, and an Anniversary Rally around May.

The Wanderer, November 1998 Each month members receive The Wanderer magazine, which includes such topics as Contacts, Calendar, Solos Network, Chapter Profiles, Happenings, Letters, Innovations, Member Recommended, and Members' Market. The Wanderer, October 2002

Glovebox Guide

A Club "Glovebox Guide" is issued periodically containing a "Fellowship Directory" to enable members travelling Australia-wide to contact other Club members. This gives those members who normally cannot participate in Club or chapter activities, mainly due to geographic reasons, the opportunity to have some contact with their fellow Club members during the course of their travels. The Guide also contains Member Recommended Caravan Parks and Campgrounds.
