I would like to introduce Jondaryan Woolshed Museum an attraction for the tourist, groups and educational enthusiasts for the past ( 36 years). Jondaryan Woolshed has the only original historical shearing shed built between 1859 and 1861 to shear the sheep belonging to what became the largest freehold pastoral empire in Queensland. It is now the centrepiece of Jondaryan Woolshed Historical Museum, established in 1975 to present the history of Jondaryan Station and its role in the development of pastoralism on the Darling Downs and the wool industry in Australia

Events

Jondaryan Woolshed hosts yearly heritage-focused events, including the Australian Heritage Festival in September and a Working Draught Horse Expo on the long weekend in June, with many more new exciting events happening throughout the year.

Location

Just 30 minutes drive from Toowoomba, near Dalby and not far from the Beautiful Bunya Mountains, and right in the heart of the Darling Downs, it makes a relaxing day trip from all parts of south-east Queensland.
